Jennifer Dios
Costume Designer
Hello!
With formal training in Fashion and Costume Design from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) and the Academy of Art University San Francisco (AAU), Jennifer has a firm grasp on what it takes to develop a character or a certain look. Growing up in California gave Jennifer the ability to chart down different paths on her journey as a Costume Designer from designing for the Stage in Musicals like The Pajama Game (Belasco Theater Co./Dir. Shanti Belasco) and The Who’s Tommy (Simi Valley Repertory Theater) to Styling Photo Shoots for Independent Fashion/Lifestyle Magazines such as Eight Point Five, LA Direct and 944 Magazine. In 2007, having worked on various Independent Films & Commercials, Jennifer joined The Costume Designers Guild. As an Assistant Designer, she has worked on character-driven indie features like Hard Scrambled (Kurtwood Smith, Beth Grant) and The Job (Darryl Hannah) and continues to build and broaden her career in design with festival contenders Black Angel (Burbank Film Festival)
Jennifer continues to call Los Angeles home but is always ready for where the next project will take her.
